In early 2013 my wife and I found out we were pregnant. It was a thrilling time filled with lots of preparation as we got our home ready for a new little life. Part of that preparation involved buying a camera. I've always wanted to be able to take striking images of my kids without the need for a photographer. So I bought a DSLR (Canon 60D) and took it everywhere. I spent those 9 months leading up to our son's birth learning everything I could about my camera and the art of photography.

What started as a desire to take great pictures of my kids turned into what I'm sure will be a lifelong passion. Everything about creating a picture is exciting to me. Visualizing, composing, snapping the shot, post-processing...I love it all. Since then I've started taking pictures of anything I can find! My main camera is now a Canon 6D, but I really enjoy shooting my Fuji X100 as well. I picked up the Fuji second-hand when I was hunting for a compact fixed lens system. I typically use the 6D for projects and the X100 when I'm out exploring. I find switching systems keeps me fresh and creative.

Though I'm not actively pursuing professional work, I'd love to hear from you if you think my skills could come in handy! I've done both family and event photography and am always interested in expanding that range of experience. Feel free to contact me below:
